Great ice cream parlor in the Veedel, which has been family-owned for decades. Ice cream quality is very good and tasty, but of course that is known in Nippes. On hot days you can therefore stand in a very long queue. But people wait as quality prevails.

Simply put, the best ice cream in Cologne. Tried almost all of them. There is the best vanilla, lemon and yoghurt ice cream here.

The three of us really liked the ice cream. Price and portion match, taste was great and the service friendly. PS: it's worth trying the ice cream cake ?

I ate two scoops of ice cream here, the coconut ice cream was the best I have ever eaten because of the taste and the bits. Unfortunately, I wasn't that convinced of the vanilla ice cream.

Ice cream was very tasty ... big balls ... all in all, great ice cream parlor.

Extreme drop in quality (Malaga doesn't taste like anything), selection very limited. Possibly corona-dependent, therefore with three goodwill benevolently The owner's comment on this review is funny, but misses the mark. I don't have a Covid 19, otherwise the ice cream shop would have to be closed now. Which would be a shame. But it still doesn't taste as good as it used to. Admittedly, subjective impression. But that's how it is with reviews, stay cool

That's how I like ice cream! The nostalgic institution for avowed ice cream lovers. A waffle, tasty and crispy. Creamy ice cream, the craftsmanship of which is beyond any doubt. Creamy and tasting like indigenous things taste now. Simply a pleasure!

Small, somewhat old-fashioned, but fine ice cream parlor in a beautiful, quiet side street. Very good coffee and cappuccino !!! The ice creams is quite manageable in the flavors or the angbotenen cups - for but quality and prices are great! Always happy for years ...

I tasted chocolate (tastes like cream with the well-known pudding cup) coconut with rasps, strawberry raspberry and pistachios. Picture of it is not. Was busy with food. Everything very strong in the taste I do not care what's in there or not is ... It's just saulecker. ❤️ I'll be back. Anyone who still likes to eat coffee outside of ice cream is right here ?

I have been coming to this place for over 45 years. The original founder, Mr. Engels was the sweetest person you could ever meet. The ice cream is still pretty authentic, but the new generation of owners have no common sense, are rude (i was asked not to sit on their nearly empty out door seatings - if i hadnt purchased from the in-house menu, when a lady with two small children with the same kind of cone orders was left alone for unknown reasons), and will be the reason why I won’t be coming to this place anymore. Used to ne a nice routine on my bi-annual visits to Germany.

Went with a local that described it as the best ice cream in Köln... and I was not disappointed! It is not the most beautiful place, far from it! It does not have enough seating, and that is why many costumers seat in the surrounding areas... But for what it really matters, the flavor, it is divine... and the staff is also very friendly!
